Vimeo

ECSD now is using the Vimeo platform for all video publishing. Vimeo is the only division authorized video service for posting videos for the public.

Steps to insure a user has access to Vimeo:

  1. A user must been made a Website Delegate and a Vimeo Contributors Delegate by their Principal or AP through manage.ecsd.net Learn more about Web Delegate Membership
  2. Once made a Delegate, they will have to reach out to the web team to be made a Contributor on Vimeo. (Email websupport@ecsd.net and let them know what school location). 
  3. Once the above steps have been completed, the user will be able to sign into Vimeo with Microsoft single sign in.

Upload videos to Vimeo

Step 1 - Upload your MP4 files

Step 2 - Set your video to “Public”

Set the video to public and publish.

Step 3 - Share & copy the link 

Go back to your library where all you videos are, and copy the share link from there.

Step 4 - Insert Media by pasting in the video URL


Changing Your Home Page Video

1. Once your video is uploaded in the library, copy the link

2. In Content Manager search for your home page and edit

3. Paste the link from Vimeo (but only the numbers). Publish.
